Aluroll looks forward to another year of business growth

Over recent years, Aluroll, which is a Secured by Design (SBD) member company, has moved into a larger factory, invested in state-of-the-art production equipment and expanded its product range for domestic, commercial and industrial marketplaces.

The most significant change was the company’s relocation in 2013 to a larger, 50,000sq ft factory within their group’s self-contained industrial estate in Oswestry, Shropshire. This new building provided the opportunity to increase production and meet the rise in demand for its products.

Investment followed in key plant and equipment including a powder coating facility and the opening of a showroom and training facility, which is believed to be the largest in the country, so trade installers and their clients can view and operate the company’s range of products.

The product range expanded to include a comprehensive range of steel shutters – and fire shutters, which are rated from one to four hours resistance.

In 2016/2017 the company launched the Secureroll brand to distinguish Aluroll’s roller garage doors from its commercial roller shutters and to shift the focus of the garage door range away from the manufacturer and towards the trade customer, making it easier for them to promote the products as their own.

Aluroll continues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction with feedback ratings of 9.8 out of ten for service and delivery. Customers appreciate the custom-made solutions, quick turnround times and the comprehensive five-year product warranty. Last year, the company achieved record sales – despite the pandemic.

Looking forward to 2021, the company believes it offers the best overall value for money in the market and remains committed to becoming the UK’s leading supplier of quality aluminium roller doors and security shutters to the trade through its network of approved distributors and installers.

Eleven of its products meet Police Preferred Specification to deter and reduce crime and have been accredited by Secured by Design, the official police security initiative. These include ten Elite roller shutters in aluminium and steel designs and the Secureroll Classic Roller garage door, which has been certified to STS 202 Issue 7 BR1 requirements. SBD is the only way for companies to obtain police recognition for security-related products in the UK.
