Asgard Annexe rated & reviewed by 220 Triathlon
Secured by Design (SBD) member company Asgard Secure Steel Storage have had their Asgard Annexe Bike Storage Unit rated and reviewed by 220 Triathlon, a leading triathlon gear, training and lifestyle website.
220 Triathlon highly rated the Annexe’s strength and security features, commenting that it “feels very secure and substantial” and that it is “Well worth the cost, particularly when you compare it to the price of replacing your bike if it gets stolen”.
The Annexe is a high security, all metal bike shed with a tough five-point locking system - including pick-and-drill resistant locks - hidden fixings, welded hinges and reinforced panels and doors. In addition, the Annexe features an integral metal base with a free fixing kit to bolt the unit to the ground, ensuring thieves can’t prise the unit from the ground. All these additional security features contributed to the Annexe gaining its Secured by Design Police Preferred Specification and its LPCB level 1 certification and UK locksmith approval.
In addition to its security features, the Annexe shed features an integral rain guard, pent-roof, and hidden ventilation system to reduce condensation inside the shed, even when fully locked, keeping bikes and equipment not just safe but also dry. The Annexe bike shed comes in ivory, green and brown to suit all garden styles and tastes, something 220 Triathlon also liked, commenting “The forest green colour gets our vote, as it makes it easy on the eye and helps it blend into the garden, without being an eyesore”.

Andy Heath, Asgard, said: “We're really pleased that 220 Triathlon were so impressed with the Annexe. As triathletes need running, cycling and swimming gear, the Annexe is designed to safely secure up to 3 bikes, plus helmets and additional sports equipment”.
SBD Senior Development Officer Alfie Hosker said: “That’s a fantastic endorsement by 220 Triathlon and one which Andy and his Team at Asgard should be proud off. The storage solutions they offer meet the rigorous Police Preferred Specification requirements, which provide an amount of resistance against opportunist criminal attack”.
