Ballymena’s Apeer Doors renew with Secured by Design
Ballymena’s New World Developments, who trade as Apeer Doors, is one of the latest organisations to renew their membership with Secured by Design (SBD), the national police crime prevention initiative.
Born out of Ace Fixings, which was founded in Ballymena in 1978, Apeer Doors has since become Ireland’s leading composite door supplier.
Apeer Doors have a purpose-designed manufacturing plant and is a major employer in the Ballymena area. Further information on the company and their range of SBD accredited products can be found here: https://www.securedbydesign.com/member-companies/sbd-members?view=companydetail&sbdoldcompanyid=88
Linda Tomb, marketing manager at Apeer Doors said: “Having SBD accreditation is incredibly important for us and it allows us to offer the highest security front doors on the market.
“Our 70mm thick, double seal, triple glazed doorsets are fitted with two additional hinge bolts as standard and the SBD requirements ensure our customers have complete peace of mind when considering the security of their front door”.
SBD Senior Development Officer Kenny McHugh said: "Apeer Doors have been members of Secured by Design for many years and have a number of doorsets which have achieved Police Preferred Specification. I am pleased that they will be continuing their membership with us and look forward to working with them going forward”.
