Euroglaze - giving homeowners extra peace of mind

Euroglaze is one of the latest companies to renew its membership with Secured by Design (SBD), the official police security initiative.

Established in 1979, and now one of the country's leading manufacturers of PVCu windows, doors and conservatories, Euroglaze is a family business that has gone from strength to strength in recent years.

Two years after Euroglaze was formed, Alan Nettleton, the company’s founder, called the REHAU sales office and the relationship between the two began. Today, Euroglaze is REHAU's longest running customer in the United Kingdom manufacturing a comprehensive range of PVC-U windows and doors for the trade and commercial markets.

Whatever the job, whatever the property, Euroglaze has a style to suit. The business has built its reputation on the quality and efficiency of its operation, with advanced technology, lean manufacturing processes and continuous workforce training enabling it to provide the best possible product quality and customer service.

The company has a range of windows and doors that have achieved the police preferred specification.

Martin Nettleton, Euroglaze’s Managing Director, commented: “Here at Euroglaze, we have developed a range of products that meet the exacting standards required for Secured by Design certification and we are proud to be part of the scheme. With toughened screws, thicker gauge steel and corner reinforcements, as well as high performance hardware, our super-sturdy frames are significantly stronger giving home owners added benefits on insurance as well as that extra peace of mind.”

SBD Technical Manager, Alfie Hosker, said: “I am delighted that Euroglaze have renewed with us again, this is the sixth time in the last 15 years. I look forward to continuing a successful relationship.”
