Paul Marsden, EYG’s Secured by Design Liaison, said: “Commercial clients set robust criteria before we bid for commercial works. For some building projects the Secured by Design scheme is needed before they will consider us for the work.

“Our products have to be tested and conform to rigorous standards such as PAS 24 before we can gain the SBD licence, and we are regularly audited to ensure we continue to manufacture to the highest standards and retain our licenses and accreditations.

“The main benefit of SBD is to ensure we are considered for jobs where SBD is a commercial requirement, and we can also display the logo on our website and marketing materials, giving confidence to our customers that all our SBD products are secure.”

EYG has worked on multi-million pound projects across the UK, from installing sound-proof windows in airport hotels, to glazing international airports and exclusive London apartment complexes.

The company works in all sectors, including newbuild developments, hotels and restaurants, student accommodation, education settings, hospitals and health centres, and retail.
