Frontier Pitts adds Platinum Security range to products accredited by Secured by Design
Security specialist company Frontier Pitts has increased its range of products accredited by Secured by Design (SBD), the national police crime prevention initiative.
Their Platinum Security range of sliding and bi-folding gates has achieved Loss Prevention Standard (LPS) 1175 Security Rating 2 & 3 from BRE Global’s Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) and comes after months of research and development.
With testing carried out using a professional attack team that has full working knowledge of the materials and makeup of the test items, this third-party certification recognises that these products have achieved a high commercial standard and will continue to perform effectively.
Products approved to this standard are widely recognised by Government agencies, local authorities, banks, insurance companies and many other large organisations as being an effective means of protecting people and assets and serving to reduce the risks of loss to crime or terrorism.
Frontier Pitts, headquartered in Crawley, West Sussex, a manufacturer of security gates, automatic barriers, roadblockers, rising and static bollards, pedestrian control turnstiles and the Anti Terra Hostile Vehicle Mitigation range, is on the Government’s Approved Suppliers List.
The company now has more than 20 products that meet Police Preferred Specification standards set by SBD which is the only way for companies to obtain police accreditation in the UK.
