Mailboxes GB add to range of SBD products
Secured by Design (SBD) member company Mailboxes GB have added to their range of SBD products, releasing the UK’s first DUAL Secured by Design post box - the TS009 DUAL.
The TS009 DUAL includes a 6-pin security rim lock, conforming to EN1303: 2005 Grade 4, paired with a unique 3-point locking system, an integrated anti-theft device and is manufactured from robust 1.5mm Zintec Steel. The unique model allows double the number of units in the space available, whilst still achieving the DHF TS009 certification.
Tom Barnett, General Manager, Mailboxes GB, said: “After releasing our first certified TS009 Model to the market in 2018 the response was overwhelming. We received positive feedback from Architects, House Builders, Housing Associations, as well as Design and Build companies all over the country.
“We also listened to these market leaders in the construction industry and with their feedback, developed the new Model TS009 DUAL to sit alongside the first model. This resulted in great interest from the industry, along with the test labs that carried out the certification.”
