The company, based in Witham, Essex, is marking its year-long celebrations by highlighting its success as winners of the Timber Alternative Window Company category in the National Fenestration Awards in December 2017.
A manufacturer and supplier of sash windows to installation companies, the company is especially delighted with the award because it was the result of a vote by their customers around the country.

The Timber Alternative Window Company category was for companies in the UK fenestration market, which fabricate or install PVC-u or aluminium window and door products or systems companies with a range of window and door profile that aim to replicate their timber counterparts.
The company markets its products as the best low maintenance alternative to timber sash windows. They find when retail customers visit them at their showroom or show stand they are often surprised that their product range is not made from timber.
It believes key features like the ‘patented Timberweld® frame joints for perfectly sealed corners, super slim meeting rail, slim mullion for multi-light windows and the new 55mm deep cill’, helped win the award.
The company’s windows are branded Masterframe or Bygone. The Bygone Collection is sold through a network of approved installers nationwide.
