Olympic Cycling Champion Philip Hindes MBE gets an SBD Asgard bike shed
Secured by Design (SBD) member company Asgard Secure Steel Storage continues to work with the UK’s professional athletes to offer secure bicycle storage sheds for their homes, giving them peace of mind their bikes are safe and dry.
Following fellow teammates and friends such as Sir Jason Kenny and Owain Doull MBE, the latest star to opt for an Asgard bike shed is Olympic Champion Philip Hindes MBE. As Philip was in the process of renovating his home, he wanted a compact but secure bike shed for his new patio. The SBD accredited Asgard Annexe bike shed fitted the bill, offering high-security bike storage for up to 3 bikes.

Philip is a two-time Olympic Champion and Olympic Record Holder, racing with Callum Skinner and fellow Asgard shed owner Jason Kenny in the Men’s team sprint. Initially racing for Germany at the junior level, he joined British Cycling in 2010 and has gone on to win gold at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics. In Tokyo 2020, Philip was an unused reserve for the Men’s Sprint, after making an excellent recovery from an injury.
Outside of his cycling career, Philip runs 5 Rings Coffee with fellow Olympic Champion & Asgard bike shed owner Owain Doull, and Olympic Champion Callum Skinner.
