Proxima Software Solutions gain Digital Security Provider accreditation
Proxima Software Solutions is the latest organisation to be recognised as a Digital Security Provider by the Police Digital Security Centre (PDSC).
With 65,000 cyber security attacks on UK SMEs daily, and 41% of UK consumers claiming they will never return to a business that has had a security breach, investing in cyber security has never been more important.
With this ever increasing threat to SMEs, who often struggle to find the expertise and funding to implement effective cyber security, the PDSC developed the Digital Security Provider certification scheme in collaboration with BSI (British Standards Institution). The scheme helps SMEs make informed decisions when choosing a vendor and promotes vendors who take time to understand their customers and deliver solutions that are tailored to their needs.
As part of their certification, Proxima Software underwent a robust accreditation process and were able to demonstrate that they had taken the necessary security steps to instil confidence in their product and supply chain, as well as demonstrating that they help end users choose effective and appropriate cyber security solutions. The certification recognises that Proxima Software can provide solutions in the field of digital security which genuinely solve their clients’ problems.
Cheyne Marley, Cyber Development Officer at the Police Digital Security Centre, said: “The accreditation of Proxima Software marks another step forward in reducing the vulnerability of SME’s from cyber-attacks. Keith and Mike, supported by their team and partners, have been totally committed to supporting the drive to reduce cyber vulnerability.
“Achieving the PDSC’s Digital Security Provider certification supports their organisation and the processes in place to ensure that they are matching the expectations of anyone seeking a trustworthy organisation. We at the PDSC look forward to working with Proxima Software over the coming years”.
Mike Paterson, Proxima Software, said “As a supplier of innovative and powerful security and automation solutions, we are delighted to be working with the PDSC to enable organisations of any size to enhance their security and take advantage of the latest advances in technology”.
