Secured by Design (SBD) member company Warrior Doors is launching a monthly ‘DOCO Day’ to give police Designing Out Crime Officers a behind the scenes look at the company, as well as ensure that they are up to date with the latest – and often complex – technical information around SBD accredited doorsets.
The DOCO Days will provide a valuable and interactive learning experience, with officers participating in a CPD seminar, which will cover door design and security standards, a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of Warrior Doors’ factory, the chance to impact test doors with a sledgehammer and the chance to compare materials and review ‘not fit for purpose’ competitor doors which Warrior Doors have had to remove and replace due to failure.
The DOCO Days will be held on the first Wednesday of every month at Warrior Doors factory in Birmingham, commencing on 4th December, with officers also being provided with lunch. Meeting facilities will also be available for teams if required.
DOCO Days are limited to 15 attendees per session, so teams will need to book ahead.
To make bookings for DOCO Days, or for further information, please contact James Mattick on or 0121 706 8400.
Based in Birmingham, Warrior Doors design and manufacture SBD accredited stainless-steel high security and communal entrance doorsets.
