Staffordshire’s Solidor Limited, is one of the latest companies to renew their membership with Secured by Design (SBD), the national police crime prevention initiative.
Solidor have been designing, engineering and manufacturing composite doors in the UK since 2004, when it was set up as sister company to Nice Door Panels launching a unique 48mm timber core solid composite door.
In 2006 Solidor re-located to larger premises and in 2007 the company became members of Secured by Design, achieving Police Preferred Specification for a number of their products.
Each and every Solidor is manufactured in their multi-site production facility in Stoke on Trent, with their doors being sold and installed through a nationwide network of experienced and proven installation companies.
Solidor’s fast paced product development programme has culminated in a number of market ‘firsts’ with Solidor being the first company to launch Chartwell Green and Duck Egg blue as new colours in the composite door sector, as well as the introduction of the new Ultion cylinder and the £1000 anti-snapping guarantee.
