Stevly UPVC Supply increases operations and workforce to cope with demand
A company that has grown rapidly in recent years to supply UPVC door and window products throughout South Wales, has renewed its membership with Secured by Design (SBD), the official police security initiative.
Established in 1995, Stevly UPVC Supply Limited, has increased the size and capability of its manufacturing facility to become a start-of-the-art operation and enlarged its workforce to cope with demand.
From its base in Aberbargoed, Caerphilly in the South Wales Valleys, Stevly has gone on to manufacture and supply door and window products for domestic and commercial marketplaces in towns and cities such as Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Aberdare.
Offering ‘supply and fit’ as well as supply only, its extensive range of high quality UPVC door and window products include double and triple glazing for windows, doors and conservatories. The range includes casement windows, tilt and turns and vertical sliders as well as UPVC doors, bi-fold doors, French doors, patio doors and composite doors.
Lee Johnson, Managing Director, said: “Over the last 25 years, Stevly UPVC Supply has built a strong reputation in our marketplaces for high quality and affordable products, which look good and last longer.
“We understand that buying UPVC products can be daunting with so many options available. This is why we have highly trained staff with many years of experience with the company and in the industry to provide straightforward advice and guidance from initial enquiry to installation and beyond.”
All its products are BSI kitemarked and the company demands the highest standards from its fitters, who go through an extremely strict training programme to ensure their work meets the company’s high standards. They are all required to have achieved the Minimum Technical Competencies (MTC) standard introduced by the Government as a mandatory requirement in the glass and glazing sector. In addition, all FENSA registered products come with an insurance backed guarantee.
The company has counters to serve the trade and public, not only offering UPVC doors and windows but also rainwater plastics, fascia, soffit and associated fixings as well as tools and workwear to provide a ‘one stop shop’.
The company’s products include the Liniar range, which has been designed from scratch to take advantage of the very latest developments in window engineering technology. Stevly states that the Liniar system ‘pushes the boundaries of possibility with a range that doesn’t even need to look like UPVC’. The Liniar range comes with a patented double-action bubble gasket offering a continuous seal to prevent draughts.
The company renewed its membership with SBD at the end of last year. Both its Liniar Sculptured UPVC window system and its Virtuoso Composite Residential Doorset Range have been certified to the PAS 24: 2016 security performance standard and have been recognised by the Police Service for having achieved Police Preferred Specification. SBD is the only way for companies to obtain police recognition for security-related products in the UK.
SBD Development Officer, Hazel Goss, said: “This is a company that is keen to grow its business not only based on affordable quality products but also in the way it is prepared to go the extra mile to help its customers with advice and guidance and provide a fitting service that ensures the job is completed to standards the company, and customers, expect. We are delighted that Stevly UPVC Supply has renewed its licence with us and we look forward to working with them throughout 2021 and beyond.”
