Manufacturers and suppliers of fire door hardware and components, Rutland Door Controls now have tested door components which have achieved Police Preferred Specification under Secured by Design.
This coincides nicely with Rutland’s 20th anniversary, and from their beginning have helped the fire door industry with dependable and tested door controls. Today Rutland’s vision goes way beyond their founding focus of engineering excellence, to the pursuit of enhanced life safety at every fire door.
Rutland have become well known for their mission to enhance life safety at every fire door, knowing that better fire doors with the right door controls save lives. Rutland webinars have helped raise awareness of ‘dual testing’ of apartment entrance doorsets and in 2021 they delivered two webinars to the industry about dual testing and smoke control doorsets.
