Urmet, a global leader in the door entry and access control markets, is one of the latest companies to join Secured by Design (SBD), the UK’s national police crime prevention initiative.

Established in Turin, Italy in 1937 and trading for over 80 years, the Urmet Group has 2,800 employees working across more than 100 countries worldwide.

Urmet UK focus on door entry and access control in the residential sector, specialising in the sales and support of 2-wire and IP door entry systems for small, medium and high-volume multi-dwelling apartment developments. The company have their door entry products tested within the doors of Premier Security Consultants Ltd, another SBD member company.
