Industrial Services Group has renewed its membership with Secured by Design (SBD), the national police crime prevention initiative.
Industrial Services Group (ISG) was established in its current guise in 1997; owned by Bradford Metropolitan District Council but operating as an entirely independent and autonomous commercial organisation. ISG operates as a Social Enterprise, creating jobs for people who may otherwise find it difficult to enter employment. Every penny of profit ISG makes is reinvested directly into the company, enabling the company to continue its commercial activities to generate opportunities for local disabled people in long-term unemployment.
For more than twenty years ISG have been surveying, manufacturing and installing PVC-U windows, composite doors and fire check doors for the social housing refurbishment and new build sector.
ISG’s main customers include Housing Associations, Local Authorities, and construction companies across the North of England.

SBD Development Officer Alfie Hosker said: “ISG are a credit to the people they serve and the staff they employ. They continue to manufacture a range of Secured by Design Police Preferred Specification doors and windows into the housing market and it is fantastic to see our relationship continuing with them as they have now been with us for 12 years.
“ISG are looking to expand their Police Preferred Specification offerings in the near future, enabling them to offer an ever increasing range of quality products to their customers”.
Peter Keeley, General Manager of ISG said: “We shouldn’t be having any debate about whether windows and doors are secure or not. It staggers me that some developments continue to be completed without this level of security built in.
“We are proud that we continue to supply high quality secure products to our customers, and to reinforce that message with our continued Secured by Design membership.”
