What we do
Safer
We improve the security of buildings and their surroundings by using effective design and police-approved standards to reduce crime and create safer communities.
Accredit
We accredit security products and practices to ensure they meet the highest standards of crime prevention. Only Secured by Design members can achieve our ‘Police Preferred Specification’ product accreditation.
Promote
By promoting the use of police-recognised accredited products and practices, we contribute to safer communities across the UK.
