Police CPI at International Security Expo 2024

Police Crime Prevention Initiatives (Police CPI) will once again be in attendance at the International Security Expo at London Olympia next week, 24th & 25th September, highlighting its range of crime prevention and demand reduction initiatives, as well as the work Police CPI undertakes in support of the government and policing.

The Expo sees around 10,000 professionals responsible for the security and resilience of businesses, people and critical national infrastructure, alongside those leading on homeland and international security gather together. Top security manufacturers and suppliers from around the world – many of them Secured by Design member companies - will be exhibiting their latest innovative solutions, whilst experts – including Police CPI’s Michelle Kradolfer and Allan Harder - will take to the Summit and Conference and provide high-level insights in to their areas of work.

Stand and presentations

Police CPI have a stand within the Government Zone, A76, at the Expo. The Government Zone showcases UK Government capabilities, innovative security technologies, integrated solutions and intelligence to create a safer world.

Police CPI will also be delivering presentations at the co-located International Security & Resilience Conference:

  • Tuesday 24th September at 14:30hrs: Secured by Design National Manager Michelle Kradolfer will look at the importance of IoT security, compliance and the PSTI Act in the presentation ‘Internet of Things or Internet of Threats?’

  • Wednesday 25th September at 12:00hrs: Allan Harder, Police CPI’s Continuous Integrity Screening Lead, will look at whether vetting processes need to be improved for those involved in security and safeguarding, and indeed further afield in the presentation ‘Integrity is Non-Negotiable’

Michelle will also be part of a panel discussion on the Global Cyber Summit at the International Cyber Security Expo:

  • Wednesday 25th September at 13:15hrs: Digital Secure by design: Security by design should be the base standard for software and hardware development, but too often, speed to market trumps it. The panel session consider how we can design a more robust ecosystem that is not susceptible to the vagaries of patching and zero-day vulnerabilities, encouraging suppliers to think security first.
