The Joinery Network renew Secured by Design membership

The Joinery Network is all about improving both standards and opportunities for UK joiners. It is a co-operative of leading industry suppliers, bringing joinery manufacturers the expertise, practical support and certified products to grow their timber window and door businesses. 

Whether it's PAS 24 certification, advice on improving efficiency, a quality hardware supplier, finance for tooling or help on how to sell more products, The Joinery Network puts companies directly in contact with practical people who have the know-how and tools to move them forward. As a system house The Joinery Network supply a number of Secured by Design approved Timber manufacturing companies. 

The Joinery Network’s Lignum system of timber windows and doors have achieved Secured by Design’s Police Preferred Specification. Designed to suit UK housing styles, the Lignum™ system includes timber flush casement windows, timber box sash windows, timber spiral balance sash windows, timber tilt & turn windows, timber single doors, timber French doors, timber double doors and timber bifold doors.  Lignum™ has been fully tested to comply with Building Regulations Document Q for new build housing. The timber windows and doors are certified to stringent PAS 24:2016 / 2022 standard for security and BS 6375:2015 Parts 1 & 2 for weather tightness. 

Lignum™ is available to any joinery manufacturer.

The Joinery Hour

The Joinery Network also run The Joinery Hour every Friday between 8am and 9am.

A chance to discuss all things timber, The Joinery Hour offers the opportunity to join likeminded business leaders as they work to improve the timber industry. Experts will be on hand to help with business, tooling, hardware, finance, technical, coaching, software, marketing, timber, glazing and much more. Special guests will also be covering hot industry topics, and there will be the opportunity to bounce questions and ideas within cohort groups.
