Urban Front was founded by Nabil and Elizabeth Assaf in 2005 when they couldn’t find the right door for their refurbished 1970s home. Recognising a gap in the market, they launched Urban Front to provide contemporary hardwood doors for homeowners unwilling to compromise on design, performance or security.

Since then, Nabil and Elizabeth have learned everything there is to know about hardwood doors, developing countless ways to enhance performance. Today, Urban Front design contemporary doors in a range of different hardwoods, sizes and finishes. Proud of their Made in Britain status, the doors are handcrafted by a specialist team in the Urban Front workshop in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. 

With steel reinforcement and a focus on security, the company maintain strict quality assurance on every door created – Nabil and Elizabeth sign off on each one guaranteeing exceptionally high standards. Shipped globally, Urban Front’s doors can be found in luxury homes across the world.
