Sentry Doors celebrate 12 years with SBD

Sentry Doors have celebrated 12 years membership with Secured by Design (SBD), the official police security initiative, adding to their range of products accredited by SBD.

Sentry Doors, a specialist manufacturer of timber fire and security door-sets for the social housing, public sector, commercial and residential markets, added the FD 30 Timber 44mm Doorset range to their products which have achieved Police Preferred Specification. The timber doorset range has recently achieved dual certification compliance for both fire and security,

Operating nationally from a 33,000 square foot facility in Doncaster, Sentry has established a strong reputation over the years for manufacturing products that meet the most rigorous quality and fire certification standards.

Trading since 1989, Sentry Doors celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, the same time that SBD also celebrated its 30th anniversary. Sentry Doors was founded by Gordon Yates, starting as a family business in Doncaster that operated from a 12,000 square foot site. The company went from strength to strength and in June 2018 moved into a 33,000 square foot site with room for expansion.

In February 2019 the family sold the business to Cairngorm Capital to facilitate further investment in the business and enable further development.
